Batik Kangi

Inspired by Farla's Grandma- Nenek Pah, the pattern was taken from Nek Pah's daily kain Batik. Every delicate pattern resembles her personality, and a glimpse of NekPah in her active daily life, doing things she loves the most, cooking, making kueh every evening, gardening, and sewing - all done while she's wearing kain batik of her favs.

And Kangi was a special nickname given to her since she's a baby. Everybody who's dear to her would call her this ♥︎

To celebrate her strength and love, we carefully reimagined her this batik patterns into a printed modal hijab — preserving every detail with subtle refinement to enhance the beauty of this Malaysian treasured arts.
